I am incredibly proud to be the Principal of Corby Primary Academy. Our dedicated team of staff and the wider trust have one end goal – to enable every child in our academy to be the best that they can be. Our children are at the heart of everything we do.

At Corby Primary Academy, our aim is to ensure that every child receives a stimulating and inclusive educational environment in which everyone feels safe, respected and supported to grow and develop to their full potential.  

Our purposeful curriculum is therefore designed to ensure learning is:

• Collaborative - working together with other pupils, parents and teachers to expand upon their knowledge and skills.
• Language-rich - utilising a range of tier 2 and tier 3 vocabulary across lessons to broaden their word choices.
• Inclusive - be supportive of pupils with a diverse range of needs, as well as of those from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures.
• Memorable - lessons are enjoyable experiences that pupils readily share with their parents and carers, with knowledge and skills being transferred to their long-term memory.
• Bold – being brave to try new experiences and push themselves out of their comfort zones.
